QSO Technologies LLC
Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 18, 2026
Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how QSO Technologies LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("QSO Technologies," "we," "us" or "our"), collects, uses and shares personal information. It applies to our marketing website at qsotechnologies.com (the "Site") and to our web application, Appliance Super Intelligence, available at app.appliancesuperintelligence.com (the "App"). Together we call the Site and the App the "Services." If you have any questions, you can reach us at hello@qsotechnologies.com.
The App is a business tool built for builders, designers, trade professionals and other business users. It is not intended for personal, family or household use.
Information we collect
Visitors to the Site. The Site is a static marketing website. It has no forms, maps or videos, it uses no third-party font services, and it does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider processes standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you request, only as needed to deliver the Site securely. We do not keep content delivery network (CDN) access logs for the Site.
People who contact us. The only way to contact us through the Site is an email link. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message, such as your name, your company and the details of your inquiry.
App users. When you create an account and use the App, we collect the following:
- Account and sign-in information. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider, Clerk, using your email address or, if you choose, Google sign-in. We receive the information needed to create and secure your account, such as your name and email address.
- Profile information. Your name, company and role.
- Preferences. Your settings, including your cookie choices in the App.
- Technical and usage information. Information needed to keep you signed in, keep the App secure and operate it, such as authentication cookies and App server logs used for security and operations.
Uploaded content. App users can upload content such as appliance invoices (as PDFs or photos) and appliance specification data. The App uses this content to create project folders, appliance schedules, project decisions, trade reports (electrical, plumbing/water and gas) and combined PDFs. We call the content you upload and the outputs created from it "Customer Content." Customer Content may contain personal information, such as names or contact details that appear on an invoice. Please upload only what you need for your projects and what you are permitted to share.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- provide, operate, maintain and improve the Services;
- create and manage your account and authenticate you when you sign in;
- process your Customer Content to deliver the features you request;
- respond to your questions and requests and provide support;
- send you service-related messages, such as account and security notices;
- protect the security and integrity of the Services, and detect and prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorized access;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Where our Services are offered
The Services are intended for businesses and users in the United States. We do not target or direct the Services to people in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. If someone outside the United States contacts us about their personal information, we will handle their request in accordance with applicable law.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We do not share Customer Content outside your account without your consent, except as described below.
Service providers. We share information with service providers that process it on our behalf to run the Services. These include Clerk, for authentication and sign-in, and Amazon Web Services (AWS), for hosting, storage and content delivery. Service providers may use the information only to provide services to us.
Legal requirements and protection. We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that it is required by law, regulation, legal process or a government request, or that it is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of QSO Technologies, our users or others.
Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization or sale of all or part of our assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. Any information transferred will remain subject to this Privacy Policy.
With your consent. We may share information for other purposes when you direct us to or consent.
Your privacy choices
Anyone can ask us to access, delete or correct their personal information by emailing hello@qsotechnologies.com. We will verify your request, for example by confirming information associated with your account, and respond within a reasonable time. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If your personal information is in Customer Content uploaded by one of our business customers, we process it on that customer's behalf. Please direct your request to that customer, and we will help them respond as appropriate.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. Data in the App is hosted on AWS and encrypted, and we use access controls to limit access to people and systems that need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your sign-in credentials confidential and tell us promptly at hello@qsotechnologies.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Specifically:
- Account data and Customer Content are deleted within 90 days after your account is closed, except where the law requires us to keep information longer. Copies in our backups are deleted as those backups age out on their regular schedule.
- Emails you send us are kept for up to 2 years.
- App server logs used for security and operations are kept for up to 1 year.
- We do not keep CDN access logs for the Site.
We may also keep information longer where needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. When we no longer need information, we delete it or de-identify it.
Where data is stored
We store and process data in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored in and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
Children's privacy
The Services are intended for business users and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at hello@qsotechnologies.com and we will delete it.
Marketing emails
We do not currently send marketing email, and we will update this Privacy Policy before we do.
